Vane

Mouvex® Enterprise™ Series Vane Compressors are proven workhorses for the oil-free, high-pressure discharge of fluids that can cause problems for cargo pumps. Constructed from corrosion-resistant, hard-coated cast iron to withstand harsh environments and operating conditions, these rotary vane compressors feature a central, spinning rotor and a number of vanes. The rotor is contained inside of a sealed chamber with an inlet and outlet valve. The vanes are spring-loaded so that they constantly push against the outside of the hard-coated cast iron case, creating a tight seal. As the vanes rotate to the discharge position, the geometry of the chamber volume reduces to create pressure.

Enterprise compressors are easy to maintain and inspect via a vane inspection port. With PTO or hydraulic motor drive options, these vane compressors offer the transport industry pressures up 36 psi and flow up to 173 m3/h (102 CFM).

Screw

Mouvex oil-free screw compressor technology quickly and efficiently unloads dry bulk or liquids from transport trucks. These screw compressors use two meshing helical screws, known as rotors, to compress air. Timing gears ensure that the male and female rotors maintain precise alignment. Air enters at the suction side of the compressor and is pressurized as the screws rotate. The meshing rotors force the air through the compressor to the discharge port and ultimately to the transport tank at pressures up to 2.5 bar (36 psi). With PTO, hydraulic motor drive, and Hydrocar direct fit options. These screw compressors offer the transport industry discharge rates up to 1,550 m³/h (912 CFM).

Reciprocating

Blackmer single stage, reciprocating compressors create a low-pressure area in the pumping chamber when the piston moves from the highest point of the stroke to the lowest point. Gaseous product (at a higher pressure in the tank) moves into the pumping chamber. This volume of gas is then displaced when the piston moves to the top of the stroke. Equipped with high efficiency valves, ductile iron pistons, self-adjusting piston rod seals and other robust features, these compressors are designed to provide maximum performance and reliability under the most severe service conditions.
