HXLJ Jacketed Sliding Vane Pumps Featuring Heat Jackets for Use in high-viscous and high-temperature applications

Utilizing the unique Blackmer® sliding vane design, these Heavy Duty Line positive displacement rotary pumps offer the best combined characteristics of sustained high level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation and low maintenance cost.

The HXLJ8 model features jacketed heads for high-viscous and high-temperature applications. Base-mounted unit assemblies with commercial gear reduction drives are available for all HXL models. This model is fitted with replaceable casing liners and end discs that allow easy rebuilding of the pump, without removing the pump from the piping. The jacketed model is available in 8-in ANSI flanged port sizes with a maximum rated capacity of 1,190 gpm (4,505 L/min). Standard elastomers include FKM O-rings. Optional bolt-on relief valves are designed to protect the pump from excessive pressure are available for all sizes.

Blackmer fully Integrated Unit Assemblies are the pre-engineered and pre-designed drop-in pumping solution. These unit assemblies, include motor, gearbox, baseplate, coupling safety covers, and a HXL (jacketed or non-jacketed) Sliding Vane Pump (6, 8 & 10-in size). No alignment required with these pre-configured fully Integrated Unit Assemblies as they are ready for immediate drop-in installation.
