About Quattroflow

The Quattroflow® story dates back to the 1990s when one of the company founders was working in the filtration technology sector and found himself in need of a pump that would produce a protein solution. After teaming up with the second company founder, an electric specialist, they developed a new pump technology ideally suited for that type of application – a diaphragm pump with four smooth-action pistons. Based on this invention, the pair founded Quattroflow in 2000 using the location of an existing electrical installation company.

In 2011, Quattroflow was acquired by PSG®, a Dover company, and moved into the Almatec® manufacturing facility located in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany. In 2018, Quattroflow and Almatec relocated to a new company headquarters in Duisburg, Germany, which accommodates the growing businesses by providing roughly 70% more space, including a much larger manufacturing facility and a state-of-the-art ISO Class 7 cleanroom.

Quattroflow expanded its product portfolio in 2023 with the launch of its first QB Series Single-Use Precision Micropump, the QB2-Standard (QB2-SD). The QB2-SD model is the smallest size in a family of lightweight and compact rotary microdosing pumps designed for precision, enabling the transfer of delicate biologics. To complement the QB2-SD, Quattroflow also launched the Q-Drive-Alpha, a fully integrated drive device for use in production, evaluation and laboratory.
