About Malema

For over 40 years, Malema has been a notable name in an industry that has transformed many times since the beginning of time – from ancient tools that monitor river flow to modern products that measure gases and liquids.

Today, Malema flow measurement and control devices are essential for demanding semiconductor, industrial and hydrogen applications.

With a track record of producing precise and accurate flow measurement and control technology, Malema is proud to provide manufacturers with the modern solutions they need to improve the safety and reliability of their operations.

Take a look at some of our impact on the industry – and the world.

1980s

In April 1981, Malema established itself in Boca Raton, Florida, as a manufacturer of flow measurement and flow control products – quickly becoming a critical supplier to Semiconductor Fabrication Facilities and OEMs worldwide.

1990s

Malema released the first-ever Ultrasonic Flow Controller, followed by the first PFA Coriolis Flow Controller. During this period, the Malema global footprint rapidly increased due to the growing demand for microchips, leading to expanding R&D, Manufacturing and Service Centers in Florida, California, India, Singapore and South Korea.

2020s

Malema Coriolis Single-Use Flow Meters were used worldwide to produce COVID-19 vaccines. As a result, Malema increased its manufacturing capacity for single-use products fivefold and began extending its service footprint into Europe.

Present

In 2022, Malema was acquired by Dover Corporation and joined the PSG® business unit within Dover’s Pump & Process Solutions segment. With an established reputation for innovative products and an expert engineering team, Malema further scaled the company by developing a structure that enabled growth ten times its size.

When looking towards the future, Malema aims to continue providing innovative flow measurement and control technology to assist manufacturers around the globe in producing end products that help improve lives.
